The local Special Education Advisory Committee (L-SEAC) has meetings quarterly. The next meeting is scheduled for April 24, 2013 at 6:30 pm in James Monroe High School media center. It is open to the public, those wishing to attend who need special accommodations, including an interpreter, must request needed accommodations at least one week prior to the meeting with Brenda Carr at 540 372-1127 or bcarr@cityschools.com .
The State Special Education Advisory Committee (SSEAC) welcomes public comment at each of its regular meetings. Please see the Public Comment Policy for information about SSEAC policies and procedures for submitting comments. Those wishing to speak should contact Mrs. Michele Orr by phone at 804-786-0790 or by e-mail at Michele.Orr@doe.virginia.gov to be scheduled to speak.
