Martha Allison – Foreign Language

We are starting with names and the alphabet. Students are learning how to SPELL in Spanish. I am trying to get them to spell Spanish words in Spanish ( also their newly chosen Spanish names). We have also done a little geography and colored some flags.

Next week, we are adding greetings and farewells, words of common courtesy like: Please and thank you, you’re welcome. Then, days of the week, colors, school things, seasons, numbers to 30, and then — a Prueba Grande ( Big quiz) We also talk about Food and have our first Food/ Culture Day on Friday the 16 of September. I use these days to talk about History and Culture.
