Lesson Plans Sept. 26-30, 2011

24th September 2011

As we start the 4th week of classes, students in all classes have already turned in their personal narrative essays for use with college applications.

AP classes are finishing discussion and analysis of I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and are preparing for their first test of the year.  They will then begin a unit on Anglo-Saxon literature, as well as work on the novel Heart of Darkness.

English 12 classes have just finished their Anglo-Saxon Unit and are starting on the Middle Ages while also reading the novel The Time Machine as a social metaphor/allegory.
