This is the last reminder that deposits for the AP exams are due by Friday, March 19. If you are planning to take an AP exam, you must sign up with your teacher by then. If you are taking an online class, sign up with Mrs. Miller. Deposit is $13.00. Full price is $86.00. Balance must be paid by April 23 to Mrs. Miller. For more information or questions contact Mrs. Miller in the counseling center.
Teachers are collecting deposits for the AP exams now. All deposits are due by March 19th.
If a student is planning to take an AP exam in May, he/she must sign up with the AP teacher and pay a minimum deposit of $13.00 to that teacher before March 19. The deposit is non-refundable because all exams ordered must be paid for whether the student takes them or not. Also, no additional tests can be ordered after the deadline passes. The total cost for each AP exam is $86.00, and the balance must be paid to Mrs. Miller by April 23rd. (Separate checks must be made for deposits, but the balance can be paid with one check regardless of how many AP exams the student is taking.)
Students enrolled in an online AP class who wish to take the AP exam must turn in a deposit to Mrs. Miller by March 19th also.
See Mrs. Miller in guidance for questions or concerns.
Any JM student wishing to sign up for the ASVAB that will be given here at JM on March 11th needs to sign up in the counseling center by February 25th.
This is a reminder to students:
When filling out an SAT or ACT registration, you must include the high school code in order for the scores earned to be sent to JM – 470-885.
The testing site number is 47-340. This is the code you need to fill in to register at JM for the SAT. Our site fills up fast because we are one of the smaller sites.
College codes are no longer included in the registration packet. You can either get them online or look them up from the code book that Mrs. Ripley keeps at her desk.
The PSAT Parent Night is scheduled for Wednesday, December 16th at 7:00 P.M. in the Lecture Hall.
Students can pick up their PSAT scores during that time and learn how to interpret them.
Students who do not pick up their scores during the parent night will be scheduled to meet with their counselors to go over the scores with them after the winter break. For questions or concerns please call Heidi Miller in guidance.
