AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time, team-based residential program for men and women ages 18-24. Teams serve with local and national organizations, providing an infusion of resources and leading volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, and hundreds of other organizations. Young adults lead youth development activities, construct and rehabilitate low-income housing, clean up streams, help communities develop emergency plans, and address other pressing local needs. Teams are trained in CPR, first aid, disaster response and firefighting. AmeriCorps NCCC is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service. Seniors: If you have been awarded scholarship money from the college/university you will attend or from a foundation/company and you want it announced at Honors Evening, you must bring a copy of the official letter that you received announcing your award to Mrs. Stinchcomb by Friday, May 20th.
