Counseling Center Summer Hours

The counseling center will be open during the summer from 7:30am- 3:30pm.  However, due to various vacation schedules, please call prior to coming in to make sure someone will be available to assist you.  If you are a new student to Fredericksburg City and wish to enroll, please call to schedule a registration appointment.

AmeriCorps NCCC Opportunities

AmeriCorps NCCC is a full-time, team-based residential program for men and women ages 18-24.  Teams serve with local and national organizations, providing an infusion of resources and leading volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, and hundreds of other organizations.  Young adults lead youth development activities, construct and rehabilitate low-income housing, clean up streams, help communities develop emergency plans, and address other pressing local needs.  Teams are trained in CPR, first aid, disaster response and firefighting.  AmeriCorps NCCC is a program of the Corporation for National and Community Service.  The Corporation improves lives, strengthens communities, and fosters civic engagement through service and volunteering.  For information, please visit www.AmeriCorps.gov/NCCC.  Pick up a flyer in the counseling center as well.

Senior Honors Evening 2011

Seniors:  If you have been awarded scholarship money from the college/university you will attend or from a foundation/company and you want it announced at Honors Evening, you must bring a copy of the official letter that you received announcing your award to Mrs. Stinchcomb by Friday, May 20th.  Honors Evening will be Thursday, June 2,2011 at 7pm.

2011 Summer Youth Employment Program at Library of Congress

Career Training Solutions Open House- April 27, 2011

CTS will be holding an Open House for high school seniors on April 27th from 3-7pm.  It will be located at their campus on Riverside Parkway.  See classrooms and labs, tour the school, talk to Admisions officers and Financial Aid officers.  If you are planning a career in Nursing, Esthetics, the Allied Health Sciences, Massage Therapy, or Information Technologies, you don’t want to miss it!  Call 540-373-2200 for more information.

Driver’s Ed ClassroomTraining at Germanna
