JMHS Community:
From 8:30 A.M. to 9:00 A.M. The James Monroe High School went on lockdown or code yellow due to a planned administrative security event. Routinely we will bring in police officers and K-9 units to ensure the safety and well being of our students and faculty.
At no time was anyone in danger and everyone complied wholeheartedly. We appreciate the continued efforts of our community to make sure that The James Monroe High School continues to be one of the safest schools in the nation.
