Over the first nine-weeks of Advanced English 9, we read Night (Wiesel), Lord of the Flies (Golding), and Romeo and Juliet. As we begin the second nine-weeks, we also begin our next novel, Wish You Well by David Baldacci. Wish You Well is the most recently written work we will study this semester. We will be finishing the novel before the Holiday Break, giving us plenty of time to tackle Wuthering Heights (Bronte), our most challenging work, before the end of the semester.
