I hope that everyone is ready for the Holiday Break. Let’s look ahead to the Holiday Concerts. The JMHS Holiday Concert will be on Monday Dec. 17th at 7pm. The WGMS Holiday Concert will be at JM and will be on Tuesday Dec. 18th at 7pm. I can’t wait to see all of you there!!!

Just letting everyone know that I have created and posted your newest practice logs to your class’s page. I have experienced certain people saying they could not open the files as I post them so I have created PDF files and posted them. That should fix any issues everyone has.
Remember that if your child did not turn in their practice logs on Thursday, they can still turn in their logs on Monday for half credit. I have also posted the next practice log that is due on November 10th

The formal wear forms for the High School Orchestra are due tomorrow, Tuesday October 11th!!! It will be a quiz grade for the students. Please make sure that if they have not said anything to you, that you ask them about it so you can fill it out. If they have lost it, please go to the JMHS Orchestra page on my site and you can download it and print it out.
Hey Everyone! Please remember that there is an Orchestra Boosters Meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 5th. It will be in the Orchestra Room at 6:30. I hope to see everyone there!

Greetings! My name is Jeff Gordon and I will be directing the orchestras at “THE” James Monroe High School as well as at Walker Grant Middle School. Along with my orchestra classes, I will also be teaching music theory as well as chamber ensemble. I look forward to continuing the outstanding music that the FCPS orchestras have created.
